Ulrich Baer received his MFA from Brown University in 2017. He was born in GA and grew up beneath southern power plants. He has published a full-length, unclassifiable text with Apocalypse Party (Midwestern Infinity Doctrine, 2023) and a poetry book with Red Hen Press (Deer Black Out, 2024). His forthcoming book Beyond the Planet of the Vampires (CLASH, 2025) will be published alongside its predecessor, Return to the Planet of the Vampires (Inside the Castle, 2025). The first space vampire book, The Planet of the Vampires, is still seeking its publisher. He has been included in journals such as FENCE, Baest, and The Tiny. Ulrich Baer is a man who loves horses.
